These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of TV SOS's website and coaching services. By booking a session, purchasing a service, or using this site you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About these terms
"TV SOS", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the coaching service operated by Claire Pugh-Williams in the United Kingdom. "You" refers to the person booking or using our services.
2. Our services
TV SOS provides career coaching for the television and production industry, including 1-to-1 sessions, CV refinement, interview preparation, and job application support. The exact scope of any engagement will be confirmed in writing before your session.
3. Booking and payment
- Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received in full.
- All prices are in GBP (£) and inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- Payments are processed by trusted third-party providers; we do not store full card details.
- Sessions are delivered remotely via video call unless otherwise agreed.
4. Client responsibilities
To get the most from your coaching, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your background and goals.
- Attend sessions on time and in a suitable, distraction-free environment.
- Complete any reasonable preparatory work agreed in advance.
- Treat all communications and materials with respect and confidentiality.
5. Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellation rules are set out in our Refund Policy. In short:
- Reschedule free of charge with 48+ hours notice.
- Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the session fee.
- Statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are preserved where applicable.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, logos, graphics, and downloadable materials — is owned by or licensed to TV SOS and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.
Materials we create for you during coaching (e.g. revised CVs) are yours to use for personal job-seeking purposes.
7. Disclaimer
Coaching is a collaborative process. While we draw on substantial industry experience, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers, interview success, or career progression. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of our services is limited to the fees you have paid for the relevant service.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss including loss of earnings, opportunity, or reputation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services where a client behaves abusively, breaches these Terms, or where continuing would be inappropriate. In such cases, fees for unused sessions will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
